Construir tu Lumo
Entender proyectos, etapas y bloques

To build effective and organized Lumos, it's essential to understand the core hierarchical structure of LumoPages. Every Lumo you create is built upon three fundamental components: Projects, Stages, and Blocks. Grasping how these elements work together will make your form-building process smooth and intuitive.
The LumoPages Hierarchy
Think of your Lumo as a book.
- The entire book is your Project.
- Each chapter in the book is a Stage.
- The individual sentences, paragraphs, or images within a chapter are the Blocks.
1. The Project: Your Complete Digital Form
At the top of the hierarchy is the Project. This is the encompassing container for everything related to your Lumo.
- What it is: The entire digital form you create. It has its own name, settings, and publishing status.
2. Stages: Your Form's Pages or Steps
Inside each Project, you build Stages. Stages are like individual pages or distinct steps within your Lumo, guiding your users through the form in an organized manner.
- What it is: A single screen or section of your form that users interact with. A Lumo can have multiple stages, allowing you to break down long forms into digestible parts.
- Why use them? Stages improve user experience by preventing information overload and making long forms seem less daunting. Users complete one section before moving to the next.
3. Blocks: Your Form's Building Elements
At the granular level, each Stage is composed of various Blocks. Blocks are the individual elements you drag and drop onto a stage to create your form's content and collect data.
- What it is: The fundamental building units of your Lumo. Blocks can be either Content Blocks (displaying information) or Field Blocks (collecting user input).
The Power of Structure
Understanding this hierarchy is key to efficient Lumo building. You define your overall Project, then logically divide it into manageable Stages, and finally, populate each stage with the specific Blocks you need. This structured approach helps you create professional, easy-to-navigate forms that effectively serve your purpose.
Now that you have a clear picture of how Lumos are structured, let's move on to the practical steps of adding your first stage and populating it with blocks!
