We understand that business needs can change, and sometimes, you might need to adjust or cancel your LumoPages paid subscription. We've made the cancellation process straightforward and transparent, ensuring you have full control over your billing and account status.

This guide will walk you through the steps to cancel your paid LumoPages subscription.


Important Considerations Before Canceling

Before initiating a cancellation, please be aware of the following:

  • No Refunds for Any Plan Payments: If you paid for your subscription monthly or annually upfront, please note that payments are non-refundable. You will not receive a refund for any unused portion of your term. Your service will continue until the end of your paid annual cycle.
  • Service Continuation: Your paid subscription benefits (higher response limits, more storage, etc.) will typically remain active until the end of your current billing cycle (either monthly or annual).
  • Downgrade to Basic (Free) Plan: After your current paid billing cycle ends, your account will automatically revert to the Basic (Free) plan.
  • Potential Service Restrictions/Data Loss: If your usage (e.g., number of responses, total storage) exceeds the limits of the Basic (Free) plan after cancellation, your Lumos may become unavailable, and you may experience service restrictions or even loss of data (especially if you were using additional paid storage and cancel that service without reducing usage). Ensure your current usage aligns with the Basic plan limits.
  • Cancellation Anytime: You can cancel your subscription at any point before the end of your current billing cycle.

Step-by-Step: Canceling Your Paid Subscription

Confirm Cancellation. Click the "Cancel Subscription" button.

  • You will likely be presented with a confirmation screen explaining the implications of cancellation (e.g., when your service will downgrade, non-refundable annual payments, potential data restrictions).
  • Read this information carefully and confirm your decision to proceed with the cancellation. You may be asked to provide a reason for cancellation (optional feedback).

Pay close attention to the details on the confirmation screen, especially regarding the end date of your current paid service and any potential impact on your data or Lumo availability once your plan downgrades.


What Happens After Cancellation?

  • Review Confirmation: After confirming, your subscription status will be updated. You'll typically receive an email confirmation of your cancellation request, indicating that your paid plan will not renew at the end of the current billing cycle.
  • Your paid plan benefits remain active until the end of your current billing period.
  • At the end of the period, your account will automatically switch to the Basic (Free) plan.
  • Any Lumos or data exceeding the Basic plan's limits will be subject to the restrictions of the Basic plan (e.g., forms may become unavailable if they have too many responses or too much storage used).

Should your needs change again, you can always choose to upgrade your plan again from your Account Management section at any time.
